Trying to save money sucks.

Trying to budget sucks.

Building your credit sucks.

Finding a money app that makes your life easier and will even give you the occasional ribbing for your lousy money habits could really help to take the suck out of finances.

What is Cleo?

It’s a money app that doesn’t just budget your hard-earned cash. It sorts your finances out!

Cleo will help create a budget meant for you (& your Starbucks habit), kickstart your savings, build your credit history (no interest or credit checks!), and help you out in a pinch.

From building credit to a quick spot, Cleo makes money the easy thing.

Cleo was founded by Barnaby Hussey-Yeo in London and hit the U.S. market in 2018 where it has exploded.

The no B.S. money app that’s helped 4 million people budget better, build credit, and escape their overdraft.

With an impressive 4.3 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot, a 4.7 star rating on the App Store, and over 50 thousand reviews with a 4 star rating on Google Play, people seem to agree that Cleo is the real deal.

How does Cleo work?

Cleo uses artificial intelligence with a humorous touch to help you better manage your money. It’s like having a personal financial advisor in your pocket without all the hefty fees.

To get started, let her take a peek at your finances. Link your bank account, best to be the one you deposit your paycheck into – so she can analyze it and give you her insights.

She’ll take a look at the last three months of your spending and create a personalized financial plan just for you.

But Cleo is so much more than a budgeting app; we’ll get into all the different features a little later on, don’t worry.

What makes Cleo the best budgeting app out there? Her sassy feedback. Ask her any question and she’ll give you a straight answer more like a bitchy best friend than the robot she is.

Activate roast mode for a laugh or hype mode for positive motivation.

What Features Does Cleo Offer?

The Cleo money app goes WAY beyond what other money apps do. The sassy chatbot will not only help you budget and save, but it will improve your credit and work as a cash advance app in a tight spot. Cleo is indeed the money app that doesn’t suck.

Need a Quick Spot?

Cleo’s got your back if you are in a pinch and need a little extra cash fast.

With no credit check AND no interest, you can borrow up to $250!

Pay a little extra fee if you need the money immediately.

And Cleo will spot gig workers! They don’t check W2s or proof of employment as do many cash advance apps.

You do have to subscribe as a Cleo Plus or Cleo Builder member to get a Quick Spot. Both come with extra perks like credit coaching and cashback.

So if you’re in need of a little extra cash don’t overdraft or take a high-interest payday loan, just ask Cleo to spot you $250 and get paid early.

What a lifesaver! The cash advance had saved the day on many occasions when I needed a financial boost until payday. Thank you! for your outstanding service. V. S.

Budget Like You Really Mean it

Cleo June money Breakdown

Cleo can help you set up a budget for you and your lifestyle.

Not everyone has a paycheck every two weeks, so even if you get paid irregularly, like a gig worker, or have multiple income streams, Cleo can help you.

Cleo will do all the work for you. All you need to do is enter your bills and connect your bank accounts to the app using Plaid so Cleo can analyze your spending and create a budget that fits your real-life needs with the flexibility to adapt if you go off track.

Once you’ve connected your accounts, you can track your spending, see category breakdowns, and learn where all your money goes.

Cleo can help you pay your bills on time with payment reminders each month – no more late payment fees! Avoid overdrafts with low balance alerts. And tell you if you can afford the fries at 3 am. The list goes on.

Cleo does recommend budgeting your money, with 50% of your money going towards needs, 30% towards wants, and 20% into your savings. But do whatever you want.

Absolute best finance app! Cleo is so helpful. I am horrible with money and budgeting and cleo literally tells me like it is and makes me really think about frivolous purchases! Niki Marie

Build Credit, Live Life

Cleo credit builder card

Like it or not, your credit score is important. A good score shows people they can trust you. Which really matters when you apply for a job, go to rent an apartment, or want to buy a house. Want to save $1,000s on mortgage payments? You need a good credit score.

Cleo comes to the rescue with its Credit Builder Visa designed to help you build your credit history.

It is a secured card, so you have to put the money on it to use it. However much you deposit will be your credit limit. Put as little as $1 on it if you like or $500, your choice. You can never spend more than what’s on your security deposit, which makes it really hard to go into debt.

Cleo doesn’t perform a credit check when you apply for the card, but they will report your good payment history to all the major credit bureaus. You can also track your credit score within the app, making it easy to follow your progress.

The credit builder card does not charge you interest, but you will need a Cleo Builder Subscription to be eligible. With a Cleo Builder Subscription, you unlock cash advances, up to 7% cashback rewards, and priority support for your credit journey, making it well worth it.

A spectacular credit score does not happen overnight, but with a little work and persistence, Cleo will help get you there.

A lot of credit building apps/cards are false and do not necessarily build credit but just charge you money Cleo is not one of them this is the best credit building app I have used and I highly recommend it five star rating. Thomas Parker

Save Money without Stress

Cleo save money

Learn how to save with Cleo. Improve your spending habits, avoid overdraft fees, and build a savings plan you can actually follow. Use hacks like Smart Save, Round-Ups, Swear Jar, and Set & Forget to store your money away for a rainy day.

The most fun one and my favorite by far is the Swear Jar; this feature lets Cleo fine you for spending money on things you shouldn’t and puts your “fines” into your savings.

Save without thinking about it with Cleo’s Smart Save feature. Once you’ve set up autosave, Cleo will scan your accounts and calculate what’s OK to move based on your spending habits.

Cleo’s autosave feature save users on average over $20 a month.

Want a little bit more control over what gets saved each month? Pick a number and let Cleo save it for you with its Set & Forget function.

Cleo also offers the classic Round-Up. Anytime you make a purchase, the app will round it up to the next dollar and send the difference to your savings account.

Save money or cash rewards from your credit builder card in your Cleo Wallet. This helps to hide the money from you because as the saying goes, “out of sight, out of mind.”

Cleo will help you find the method that works for you to become a good little saver.

Cleo really helped me with budgeting my bills and spending habits. My credit score has gone up and so has my bank account.👍🥰😁😍😘 Steviwater
